Contemporary Nights, CN# is an arts collective curating art of varying media, conducting relevant discussions surrounding arts and culture and facilitating the exchange of constructive criticism in an open and inclusive environment.

We are a group of practicing artists based in Addis Ababa. We coordinate and make available exhibition and performance spaces for emerging and established artists to share our work at various stages of completion, including ideas, works in progress, finished and annotated works.

CN# is an entry point for artists to strike conversations on contemporary issues using their showcased artworks. Each CN# session concludes with a conversation analyzing and reflecting upon the selected works of art and how they come together.
In our efforts to introduce and display new and critical works from artists of all disciplines, CN# events continue to redefine Addis art scene both critically and pedagogically.

CN# is a catalyst for collaboration among artists from different disciplines encouraging artists to share a venue to showcase our artworks and enter our chosen media of expression into dialogues of interconnectivity.
